Smoked cheese from Zahorie Havran

Smoked cheese from Zahorie is semi-hard, ripened, full-cream cheese, which is smoked by technology of controlled combustion of beech woodchips. This gaves the cheese its characteristic smell and colour. After expiration of ripening (at least 3 weeks), the cheese gathers unique walnut-almond and lightly bitter taste with typical smoked aroma.
